Old Boats

Taken opposite the old coal store building I photographed yesterday.  It was a lovely bright morning, but bitterly cold.  I did a bit of weeding and tidying in the garden, but my fingers were frozen so I gave it up until a better day.  Time the nasturtiums were out, they are looking very tatty!

Ollie and I had a walk along the back track and put up a few pheasants then a quick bite to eat and I spent the afternoon in the shop.  Hardly anyone about but did have a nice chat to a couple from the lake district.

Driving home in the dark I passed a group of about half a dozen men in camouflage with guns and dogs, torches and a quad bike.  Poor geese - and anything else which takes their fancy . . .
