School run

It's frozen again today. The walk down the track to the school bus is crisp and satisfying, frost clinging to branches and barbed wire alike. Angus and I agree that we like this sort of weather.

I feed the animals, dose the cat for worms, chuck another log on the fire and dive back into my spreadsheet. I emerge for lunch, have brief chats with my colleagues and field a sales call with a perennial not-quite-customer.

Cod with beetroot and orange salsa for tea. The salsa doesn't quite work. Once Angus gets back from judo, we watch Tony Visconti talk about the making of the Bowie song Heroes. It's interesting to hear Eno and Fripp's tracks pulled out on their own. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03g18sx
