Japanese aralia

Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting Abstract Thursday. This is my Fatsia japonica (Japanese aralia) after full-faffing and a square crop. (I've included a different crop with lizard-skin effect as my Extra.) It represents the 'thanks' theme in expressing my gratitude for a day of good gardening weather!

Spent two strenuous hours gardening in a strong north-easterly wind. Washed the dust from my eyes. Drank coffee. Pegged out the washing. Had a bath. Had lunch.  Fetched in the washing and added it to the ironing basket. Haven't done the ironing yet - it may have to wait till tomorrow as it's line-dancing tonight. Not looking forward to driving in this wind, but I'll avoid the coast road.
