Hochzeitsturm

Looking through the Herrngarten trees Darmstadt's landmark Hochzeitsturm (Wedding Tower) lies in the distance as seen from my office. Designed in Jugendstil (art nouveau stile) it was the  town council's present to Archduke Ernst-Ludwig at his wedding with Princess Eleonore in 1905,  towering over the city.
