Slow progress

Beautiful morning but treacherous underfoot once through Harrison Park and same again coming home. Not wishing to slip and fall (and potentially breaking other wrist) I took it easy, crossing streets to less icy pavement. Made it home in one piece to welcoming lentil casserole from Tom.

Although frustrating at times being incapacitated has given my an insight to what it is like on a daily basis for many, many people ..... normally straightforward tasks take longer and even getting the bus requires careful timing to ensure free seats downstairs. Many people have been really helpful for which I'm thankful.

I also took advantage of midday sun and went for a brisker walk when temps peaked, pavements had defrosted and not yet refrosted which was physically & mentally (re)invigorating
