Canadian Visit

We went north to Fieldstone Artisan Breads in Crescent Beach, BC this morning to buy a real fruitcake  --- nothing like the typical US versions. "Our traditional Festive Fruitcake is filled with sherry-soaked raisins, currants, sour cherries, almonds, & citron. This moist, medium-dark fruitcake is soaked three times with sherry for traditional flavour." As you can see, we couldn't resist a few more items. 
 
After generating very healthy appetites, we honored another of our traditions by having an excellent lunch at the SunFlower Cafe.
