So. Just as well my Takette 28 mm is good for sticking onto these extension tubes for macro use - and that mrs tsuken gave me the Plastic Fantastic DA 35mm f2.4 which does a better everyday job - and the DA 16-45mm which includes 28mm but also goes wider. Why are those things just as well? because something has happened to my 28mm, such that the focus ring spins with no resistance, and the barrel moves not at all. So no ability to focus other than sticking it on extension tubes and moving the camera back and forth.

Ah well. Yay for the Plastic Fantastic. 8)
