Frozen

Another balmy morning,  -6 deg C this time. One thing's for sure is that you feel like you've had a work out by the time you've scraped the car windscreens and got to work!

This frozen puddle caught my eye on my lunchtime walk :-)

Tosh brought in another one of his little friends to keep warm last night, so the humane traps were duly set with Milky Way and we waited to see how long it would be before we caught our visitor.

Time went on and we discovered that the two traps were still open but all signs of the Milky Way was gone from both, we re-baited and waited.

12.30am we could hear something rattling the plastic trap in the cupboard but again when I (the we had stopped by this time) investigated there was no Jerry and no Milky Way.

I started to get visions of a larger than normal Jerry (Tosh and Big Jerry) with a sweet tooth and well on his way to needing diabetic counselling.

Third time lucky, 12.45am rattle, rattle, rattle, caught him this time! A big Jerry right enough and set free into the frozen night garden...........just in time for a ginger and white blur to whizz into action again!

Have a lovely weekend blippers :-)))
