Oak bracket

Today's blip is a quick photo of a rather splendid oak bracket (pseudoinonotus dryadeus) with its velvety upper surface exuding amber droplets like runny honey.

This is my first blip since last Monday. My objectives for the week went all awry when I got a phone call to say that my mother (who is 92) was quite unwell and I had to go to Oxfordshire. I came back home today to find that the spaniel is ill and had to take him to the vet. Consequently I haven't done any work on my linoprint for Sunday's exhibition - I may have to go with a proof instead.
