The world's largest wooden church

Today my parents and I had another traditional Karelian meal for lunch, this time at Juhanantupa restaurant. After the lunch we headed to Punkaharju to visit the Retretti Art Center. Along the way Dad and I decided to drop by at Kerimäki to see Kerimäki Church, the largest wooden church in the world. After visiting Retretti (in which there were some very interesting works of art), we headed home, albeit by a detour, as we wanted to see the Punkaharju ridge, a national landscape protected by a national reserve, as well as Punkaharju church - which was considerably smaller compared to the one in Kerimäki.
