Backblip

So lovely to wake up this morning knowing both my boys were back where they belong.  

Alan went to bed at 11pm last night and Anna had to wake him at midday!  Don't think he'd been sleeping well at the hospital.

Nipped out for a few provisions then back in time for the monthly progress meeting with the builder, architect and QS.  Positive meeting.  One or two delays meaning the completion date is now 17th Feb but we're ok with that.   The kitchen should be fitted by close of play tomorrow with the granite worktop being fitted two weeks after that so I am happy the kitchen will be fully done before Christmas.

They are giving us temporary worktops so we can start putting all the stuff back into cupboards on Sunday.  

After they left we went through to see how much they'd got done today and were totally blown away by how it's looking.  Really, really happy with it (phew!) and can't wait to see it finished.
