out in daylight..!

I was amazingly lucky this morning to get a photo of this lesser striped Christmas elf in the woods. They rarely leave their homes in daylight hours. He was busy collecting golden leaves and silver acorns so he didn't hear us approaching. I managed to get a couple of photos before he ran off at top speed making a strange noise.
