Gelli-Print exploration

Quite a bit of preparation involved today before I got as far as producing any prints.  Here's my favourite using some of the letters I was cutting yesterday.  The one on the left is the paint and stencils on the plate and the one on the right is the actual print.  The bottom layer was a textured blue, hence the blue lettering in this version.

From time to time I photograph the inked up glass palettes that I use when printmaking and today I chose to use one of the colour combinations that I'd added to my photo colour library.  I think it works quite well.
