Kings Weston House

Me and Mrs K took Millie dog for a much longer walk than planned this afternoon. We parked up at Blaise Castle estate, walked down to Kings Weston House - the first time we'd been and looking resplendent in the setting sun - but we got hopelessly lost on the way back. By which time it was nearly dark and we were aware that the car park is locked overnight, gulp.

We eventually found someone to ask directions, who confirmed that we were "miles away". She very kindly walked us to the nearest public footpath and sent us off in the general heading leaving us with a... "do you have a torch"?(!)

We must've walked about 5 miles, over double what we'd expected and made it back to the car park with just 10 minutes to spare! We might just put our feet up this evening :)
