Watcher and watched

The squirrel was quite oblivious to the cat, I think. In any case the squirrel moved long before the cat decided to pounce. She was much too far away to have done any damage. 
The first junco appeared here today. I wasn't near enough to get a good photograph. With their black heads it is difficult to see their eyes. There will be more.
