Mother and Baby

The heat of yesterday was followed today by a thick pall of smoke from a few bushfires around the city. It didn't clear until this afternoon and even at 4.30 when I took Toto for his walk by the river the city still looked smoky (see extra).

Mother coot and her baby made a nice blip and I just loved the size of the baby coots feet, they must grow into their feet eventually! :o)
