Heron gait

Capturing pictures of herons is quite an art, but this one liked to be photographed !  Here's Tiedmark stalking his prey....
You generally expect to see a heron paddling in water awaiting fishes and water creatures, but they also like small mammals, and this one was haunting the hedgerows.
