All the leaves are down

The light was already fading as we drove to Skipton to watch the two oldest Granddaughters who were taking part In a choreography competition
I knew taking a blip at the venue would be near impossible, l dont like to include other people's children in my photographs without their parents permission.
So as we drove along l set my camera to take a moving shot.
We passed a private road that always catches my eye as we go by and there is no stopping place nearby so it was click, click click as we sped past. If l could have composed the shot l would have moved the sheep!
I didn't take one photograph at the competition but my, how we enjoyed it.
About forty dancers took part in thirty one routines all choreographed by young people between the ages of five and eighteen, Each dance lasted 90 seconds, which doesn't sound long but is exactly the same time as the dances on Strictly Come Dancing.
Both girls were runners up in their category, both beautiful to watch.
Their younger sister then grumbled that she wished she had entered (but weeks ago she had opted to go to a party on the same day)
What l would like to see next year is the three of them dancing together, will need the tissues for that one.
