Socks

A dull, but warmer, day today but I wasn't tempted to go out - especially as we had an evening service to go to and I had to get the meal early.
So, you have my latest socks.
It was really hard to get a pic of them that shows the pattern, one cable goes up the outside and the other starts on the inner part of the foot and travels round to meet the first. They were a nightmare to knit, partly because of all the pattern complications and remembering where I was and partly because the soft wool easily slide off the needles and split when trying to pick up the stitch. But I got there, they are cosy and the mistakes don't show except with very careful inspection.
