Birthday cake!

Today was my lovely friend Lynette's 50th birthday party. We pitched our tents last night ready to sleep over in the garden where the party was. Master Pink couldn't get over the fact that he was actually allowed to stay up late. He kept asking us the time just to find out how late it was!! It was a fabulous party and theband "Keystone" were excellent as always. Best of all was that lots of lovely friends and family were there for Lynette, to celebrate with her. We had a dance until Miss Pink declared it "very noisy in there, mummy", we danced outside after that. Master Pink created a new dance with his Godmother, that looked rather like a kangaroo hopping. He managed to stay up until around midnight - how I'm not sure. Miss Pink crashed a little earlier under her sleeping bag but mid party! After the children had both given in to sleep, Mr Pink and I sat with those still up and listen to the band playing their acoustic guitars and singing beautifully. What an honour to share in such a fabulous lady's party and enjoy such beautful weather and company. Happy Birthday Lynette. x
