it got more Sunday by the hour .........

Went to Emberton Park for a picnic and BBQ today.

The park is located in north Buckinghamshire near the River Ouse. There is loads of space for camping and picnicing and playing, the centrepiece being a large lake.

It all started off nice and quiet, then almost at 1 o'clock on the dot the steady stream of vehicles filled the gaps between the comfort zones. With the gaps filled, the "music" was turned up and the wannabe and future footballers practiced their England football team penalty kicks (where the ball went anywhere except it's intended goal).

It was a pleasure to finally leave .... although I am thinking of going back in the winter so's I can have a BBQ in peace and quiet.
