Devon winter countryside

I was on a walk with the local walking group on this cold but very sunny day.  It was a 7.5 mile ramble along the River Otter and off into the local hills before returning to the river further downstream.  This is a view looking towards Woodbury Castle and Woodbury Common.  I have included in extras a view of the trees on top of a hill that I usually see from the other side.

An enjoyable sunny walk.  We saw evidence of the local Beavers handiwork where trees had been felled, but no Beavers as they are nocturnal, also no Otters or Kingfishers.
