Road closed

Imagine my dismay this evening when, only about 2kms from home a fire was burning and the road was closed! I had been at golf, the AGM and then drinks afterwards, so was late getting home ( fortunately I had warned hubby I would be late!)
I had to turn around and travel an extra 30kms to get home.
Hopefully these fires will soon be over...we need rain desperately.
