Phil Marriott enjoying the winter sun

I met Phil at The Charlotte Street hotel for a press screening of Sully starring Tom Hanks, a dramatisation of the pilot who landed a passenger plane on the Hudson River and saved all 155 people on board in 2009. Well worth seeing. I found it traumatic as it inevitably reminded me of the terrifying flight I took on Christmas Day a few years back with Max and the boys which envolved 2 failed landing attempts at Malaga airport due to wind and then birds in the engine, eventually landed in Alicante and then cleared out the birds and then finally landed in Malaga... we'd spent 24 hours at Gatwick due to our Christmas Eve flight being cancelled due to flooding in the North Terminal so it was a very long journey!
