Yorkshirebred drove Jeanneb53 - Wendles56 - and myself to Shipley this morning - to record the opening of the newly refurbished Samaritan's shop

After noting folk were happily buying - queuing to reach the tills - we retired to a nearby tearoom

R and I - along with many others from the village - queued this afternoon to enter the local chapel - where a service was held to remember and give thanks for the life of B - who we first met 35 years ago - when she took us under her wings in a production of Calamity Jane - the first time we trod the boards for the local music group - a much respected lady who will be missed
