Learning day by day

One happy boy

We may be leaving today but we still had lots to do. Carys and Daddy took the car to the car park while Will and I wandered into the village. We stopped to say goodbye to the reindeer.

An hour of bowling later and we were all ready for a drink/coffee/rest so that was done. Kids happy to read knowing what was to come.

What was to come was approximately five hours in the Sub-Tropical Swimming Paradise. That meant I ended up a mass of bruises from the rapids, over and over. Carys went in the plunge pool, this year Will didn't, not even by accident! Daddy took them on the cyclone a few times around 4.30 when there was no queue whatsoever. Then it was slides and then more rapids, this time in the dark.

Finally it was time to go home, one last look at the amazing Center Parcs Christmas lights and we were on our way, back to Hitchin, back to reality and back to the manic run up to Christmas that will ensue.
