A LotMoorhen!

Poor thing  He looked a lot larger than normal as he tried to keep warm this afternoon.  Puffed up and strutting around!  We made a quick dash to the lake en route to town centre.  Another lovely afternoon, but this one spent catching up on neglected jobs indoors.  What a waste!  :-)
