NEED THAT BIGGER LENSE.....

... since finding our new home, the manager here told me the bird crap bird stuff mess on the down pipe came from a hawk nesting at night.

MMMM.... that will make for a Blip one day I thought!! (The bird that is)

Anyway, no sightings of anything till today - walked out back and there far away in some other galaxy it seemed, spotted this bird "floating" around.

Grabbed the camera, even changed the crop to get a bit closer, but this as close could get.

Now was it a hawk.... nope do not think so!!

But reckon it is a Nankeen Kestral one of our smallest raptor birds??

Anyway here we have it, and watch this space for a better pic.... and maybe even before I convince the boss we need that "BIGGER" lense!!!  ha ha..
