The saga continues. ..

.... Or near enough is good enough.
Over the last week there has been activity on the back road.   Last Sunday our Condo was shaking, we thought there was an earth tremor, on further investigation we realised that it was a road roller going up and down whist another workman was distributing sand.  Today they were back and they have put down about an inch, if that, (see my extra ) of tarmac. As you can see the road and gutters are still to high.  We feel sure that when we get a big downpour there will be flooding.  Time will tell.
