Abstract Thursday

This rather aged and distressed owl looks nothing like the original object ( see extra).  I have faffed and fiddled so much that I cannot remember how I got to where I am now with this photo.  However I have achieved my object, which was to make it as far removed from its cute and cuddly self as possible yet still retain its essential owl-ness.
