Sakura

It's been a very long day. Up at IT training in Cork all day. Back down tonight and we were straight out to a funeral, which was delayed and ended up being later than expected. On the way back about 9 o'clock a huge tailback, couple of miles, highly unusual around here. Then saw the flashing blue lights and the road mostly blocked off. Gardaí gesturing us all up a side road. I noticed one car continue straight on past the police, which looked strange. Three or four tortuous miles on side roads later we were being ushered into a parking space as a coffin was arriving at the small church in Ahiohill, as we had somehow ended up in a massive funeral cortege for a local well known elderly farmer. We beat a hasty retreat. We did manage to get chips in Clon though. Back in Cork first thing in the morning for more training. Ay Caramba!
