East Cairn Hill

It was another glorious day so we decided to bag the Marilyn of East Cairn Hill in the Pentlands. We parked off the Lanark Road and walked up the old right of way to Carlops, before heading up to the top. The ground was fairly well frozen, and as a bonus the top 75 metres had quite a good cover of hard snow that made walking a pleasure by the wall. The views were extensive from  Arran in the West to the hills from Arrochar right round to Lochnagar in the North East. The blip was taken on the way down looking towards the Kips and Scald Law.
