The Remembering Tree

Great example of yarn bombing outside the RSC in Stratford-on-Avon.
The sign below the tree explains it all:
The Remembering Tree is a place to reflect and celebrate those you love, have loved and lost, and everything else in between. The squares forming the tree have been produced both in South Africa from women in poor communities and  individuals from the local Stratford community. After we take the decoration down, the the wool will be washed and recycled for either blankets to be sent to our projects in Africa or a homeless charity in the local area. All the funds raised will go GAGA (Goodwill And Growth for Africa) UK's work in Africa. Thank You.
