Blipvent Calendar 2 : Christmas Cake

Poor H hasn't been very well with a bad cough, she's been up most of the night and at home for two days. She's now started being sick as well, apparently there's a stomach bug going round school. She's very unlucky if she's picked up two different illnesses. Tomorrow she's having to miss her football team's quarter final cup match and her best friend's 14th birthday party, she's very disappointed.

Last years Christmas cake looked much lighter in colour than this one, but it seemed a bit too sticky in the middle. I'm a bit concerned this one looks too dark, it's such a long wait to find out if it's cooked properly.
