Bikes

I passed a fundraising team from a local charity called Blood Bikes when I was in town today.  They provide an out of hours service to the NHS, transporting medical supplies between hospitals in Dumfries and Galloway.  I asked about this bike and I was told it had a 1300cc engine.  The first two cars I ever owned, an Austin Mini Metro, on its second engine and something like eight previous owners, and a Ford Fiesta, had smaller engines than this.  The only way I could overtake anything when driving the Metro was to wait for an opportunity where I was driving downhill, with the wind behind me, and about a mile of clear road ahead.
