All switched on

Home in time for a walk on the Common in daylight (just!) with MrM and Louie. Then back to the flat for a quick meal before walking down the high street to watch the official switching on of the Wooler Christmas lights. A slight exaggeration as most of the lights were already on - only the those to the right of the Blip, in the shape of a large Christmas tree, were switched on at the time! But it was fun - the ukulele band played and Christmas songs were sung before Father Christmas arrived on his sleigh with gifts for the children.

At that point MrM and I dashed home to do the washing up before driving in to Spittal for another brilliant concert as part of the Highlights Rural Touring Scheme - John Kirkpatrick performing his 'Carolling & Crumpets' show. Festive music and song. A good evening.
