Calla

This is one of the callas I bought yesterday.  I hadn't bought any flowers for months.  In the spring, we had the tulips in the backyard and in the summer we admired the dahlias in England, and then nothing.  There was no time and the money was always for something else.  We are both not 'flower persons', but I thought it would brighten up the house now that the days are a lot shorter.

Went to work, worked 8 straight hours, went back home, then worked again by attacking the MOOC.  Loads to do, loads to finish, and the MOOC is work, too.  Had I studied like this when I was at university in Manila, I would have graduated summa cum laude.
