Measuring technology

We're going ahead with replacing our counter tops and this nice man came to create the template for our quartz cuts.  It's all computerized, using a Laser Templator. According to the internet, "With the LT-2D3D, you can template and finish a job onsite within 15 minutes. Then, email it back to the office to allow fabrication to start by the time you make it to the next job site."  Pretty impressive! I asked how long they'd been using this technology and he said about a year.  Before that they would build the templates by hand.  He had my quartz slabs on his truck, so I was able to see those before he left as well!
