Specimens

These aphid specimens are almost ready to be slide mounted. After several steps of clearing and staining, they are now being fixated using clove oil. In the middle my most precious samples: the first winged aphids I found of this species, collected last July. Still going strong here in the lab - just finished my audiobook, on to the next one!
