Lensbaby Blur

This is a miniature and rather sweet dahlia - the first bloom of the summer.  Used the Lensbaby, macro +4 without any aperture....love the result.

Shock horror - our prime minister John Key announced his retirement today being leader for 8 years........he has been an awesome leader,  affable, personable and very popular.  Leaving on his own terms, wanting to spend more time with his wife and two young adult children, saying he was never going to be a career PM.  Good on him I say.
