Sundown

En route to Bedford for another lecture I was treated to a spectacular sunset.  Hard to catch the best of it whilst on the road, I made a stop in a layby but had to find my way through a dense thicket for these views.  A little further on there was an amazing mackerel sky all lit in sunset shades followed by an intense red afterglow which looked especially good as I crossed a river .... on a single track bridge with nowhere to stop :-(
