Serpent

Glass and steel serpent,
Coiled sleepily while the sun,
Sinks so slowly down.


Up to that London today, to meet with my cousins (on my Mum's side).  We started doing this when we realised (after several funerals)  that we had now become the older generation.  I'm so glad and grateful to be part of such a lovely family and glad that we have reconnected after all these years ... we probably meet about twice a year, prompted by one cousins visits from Canada.   Long may it continue!
