.....on a cold and frosty morning

This was the view from a walk round the loch on a cold and frosty morning. The sun's rays just weren't strong enough to melt the frost covering the floor of the valley.

The loch was Lochan Spling just outside Aberfoyle and not my usual loch up at the Heritage Park in East Kilbride. I was visiting my best canine buddy, Togbe and mum M.

Our walk took a rather dramatic turn when Togbe decided run off and chase the deer in the forest. There was absolutely no way either M or I could go after him ... neither of us can run uphill through a forest. He came back, wagging his tail and looking very smug .... eventually! Future walks round the loch will be on the lead.
