It was the Scottish Public Sector Awards 2016 tonight, run by Holyrood Magazine in partnership with Scottish Government and the Scottish Parliament. It was fantastic to be amongst so many inspiring people so passionate about public service and making a difference to communities.

So it was a huge honour to then hear my name announced as a winner. So grateful to so many people - our talented and committed team, the partner organisations we collaborate with on so many exciting projects and of course, the incredible young people we work with every day. There is a danger of it being an overused word, but it really is such a privilege to do what I do - inspired and given hope by young people every day.
