Alder Seed Pods

A very busy day work wise - multiple conference calls and subsequent tasks assigned to me - so much for a quite relaxing week!

Didn't manage to get out today, so an indoor blip was needed. I picked up these seeds last time I was out, but don't know exactly what they are.
Edit: thanks ceridwen for letting me know that they were Alder seed pods!
They're not very big, so I guess they can qualify for Tiny Tuesday, and I think they look quite nice - hope you do too. Thanks to osuzanna for hosting.

Sickness has delayed the finishing of the roof, but it's nearly done, so fingers crossed it will be completed tomorrow.

Time to make dinner - chilli con carne tonight - one of my favourites!
