Ready for the off

No small amount of Zugunruhe migratory anxiety (see yesterday's blip) precedes this summer visitor's departure every time we take the road back to London. The Old Man has more electronic devices that you would imagine possible for a ninety-something and each laptop/camera/kindle requires careful wrapping along with its plugs, leads, and chargers.

We made landfall successfully six and a half hours later. The dog did not travel being a resident who does not migrate.
