Right on our Doorstep

Moira and I decided to take a little time this afternoon to go birding. The ocean is only minutes away from our home and yet we don't go enough! It is so calming to the spirit to sit and watch the birds and see the beauty of the water.  Moira knows her birds pretty well now.  She spotted this Egret, and could name the Brown Pelican, the Snowy egret, and the Green Heron that we were fortunate enough to see on our little trip to the ocean.  I included a black and white of the same Egret with the sunlight reflecting on the water.  Which one do you prefer?
