Performing Wasp

As I was taking a photo of this male black and white Ichneumonid wasp I was intrigued by the way he waved those long antennae about. The white sections made patterns in the air. Hoping to capture the movement I pressed video record. Instantly the wasp burst into action, hamming it up for all he was worth. He’s a proper exhibitionist.

Poppy of the day in Extras.  After overnight rain the poppies were soggy, but this one opened after the rain stopped.
