Yawn

Today we had the pleasure of visiting Dream World, on the Gold Coast,  as it prepares to open to the public tomorrow, 6 weeks after the tragic death of 4 people on one of the rides.
Courtesy of our grandson, who is employed at the park, we joined other employee friends and relatives in a free visit.
The Tiger Island enclosure is a must for any visitor as are the wild life enclosures with kangaroos, koalas, dingoes, cassowaries, brogans, etc.
We are too old for the rides but were amazed at the size and complexity of what we saw as we walked around the site. The water park was in full swing but the other rides still need to have a full health check before they can be opened.
Tomorrow the park opens again for the public with $25 from each entrance ticket being donated to Red Cross for the families of the victims of the accident.
