This is the lovely Rosewood or tipuana tree (Tipuana tipu). It has been planted as a street tree here for a long time, and all over Australia as well.

Unfortunately it has become an invasive species and fallen out of favour. The flowers are lovely and the whole tree is covered when blooming and the bees come from miles around to visit! It develops millions of seeds all of which seem to germinate so no wonder it is taking over!!
